Hi, I'm Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. Today I'm thrilled to be at Tech for Good Summit and make some big announcements and big milestones for us. First, our data centres in France are now open. We have two major regions with four data centres available in France and we see amazing entrepreneurial energy as well as large businesses all taking advantage of our investments in the country with cloud and AI technologies. I had a chance to meet with many start-ups as well as large businesses who are already able to become more competitive because of their access to some of the latest technologies we have brought to market. We also announced today AI innovation.

We are partnering with companies such as Schneider Electric as well as the government to create an ecosystem of AI innovation that will help France become more competitive in industries such as energy, transportation, financial services, healthcare and many more. so it's fantastic to see the type of energy that is getting into these industries and the competitiveness that we can infuse into them. And we also are really committed to skilling and especially around AI. We have the AI factory in Station F that's helping start-ups become more skilled in AI.

We also have the AI school that is in fact bringing students who may not necessarily have even computer background but making them data scientists and AI ready for the jobs of the future. So skilling is another major initiative for Microsoft and we are very, very focused on it. And lastly, AI ethics. I think with all this opportunity and excitement around technology we also need to be mindful about our responsibility when it comes to privacy, security as well as the ethics of AI. And we are collaborating with both the government as well as other civic and social organizations here to have a principled approach to AI going forward.

At Microsoft, we make tech for good by empowering every French citizen and every French organization to achieve more.
